ABOUT DPS HEALTH
Adam is a pioneer of self-management support technology and solutions that drive patient behavior change and promote improved outcomes and reduced healthcare utilization. He combines a unique expertise in program design and deployment with health economics and a keen insight into what drives value-based healthcare. He has led the development, rollout and evaluation of solutions currently used by dozens of healthcare organizations that touch tens of thousands of patients daily.
Neal is an experienced clinician, educator, and leader in local, state and national efforts to improve the health of vulnerable individuals and communities. He is an innovator in web and cell phone solutions that enable clinicians to help patients to adopt and sustain health-promoting behaviors and improve long-term health outcomes. Additionally, Neal is an expert in a range of areas including educating patients and healthcare providers, improving the provision of health and social services, and creating innovative solutions to complex problems. In 2004, after his 27-year career in academic primary care, Neal founded DPS Health to help at risk individuals by creating health communications technology solutions to prevent and treat chronic disease. He is co-founder of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities, and is a Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at the UCLA Schools of Medicine and Public Health.
George Kingston - Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining DPS Health, among many prestigious positions, George served as vice-president of treasury and administration at Mattel Toys. He brings to DPS Health a broad base of experience in all aspects of business planning, reporting, and strategic improvement in business processes.
Rob Morphew - Director, Operations and Program Management
Prior to joining DPS Health, Rob was a project manager and software architect for a web-based asthma risk assessment portal. He has also worked in the oil and gas industry as an expert in real-time software systems and implementing product as a software service. Rob has a B.S. in computer science with a minor in math, from Central Washington University.
Lisa Samuelson - Director, Product Development
Lisa has over 20 years of experience leading teams in the design and development of software and web applications for wellness and health behavior management. Her past experience includes developing worksite health promotion applications at Johnson & Johnson and care management software for Pfizer Health Solutions. Lisa has a B.S. degree in Biomedical Computing from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
Nancy Fisher - Director, Clinical Services
Nancy, a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), manages and trains personal health coaches to support participants on VLM and helps design more effective online coaching tools. Prior to joining DPS Health, she launched and developed the Disease Management Program at the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF) where she taught diabetes self-management one-on-one and in group classes. Her additional nursing areas of expertise include, utilization management with Health Net, healthy lifestyle change to prevent chronic illness, occupational health, as well as medical and neonatal intensive care.
Jonah Kaufman - Director, Accounts and Marketing Communications
Jonah has been working on the marketing and communications side of the business since its inception. His responsibilities at DPS Health span a wide swath of the business including communication and marketing strategy, advertising collateral creation, account management, user recruitment and internal communications. He received a BA in communication from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a MA in communication management with a focus on emerging communication technologies from USC's Annenberg School for Communication.
